The Polar Plunge! Technically no longer an arctic polar plunge but freezing nonetheless. The water temperature was 2° and Mark was excited to experience it. I decided to capture it on video for him so, alas, I did not partake of this one.

It was great fun, one person jumped in a tutu and one in a full tuxedo. The staff and crew joined in and the enrichment leader, who held the microphone and counted down to jump was pushed in, fully dressed. Thankfully he was a good sport.

We are now spending two days at sea crossing the Davis Strait to Newfoundland and North America, a voyage the Vikings made just over 1,000 years ago. And the seas are rough as we head through a gale force winds creating 25-foot waves. But we have batten down the hatches and are looking forward to returning home soon.
