We finished the evening at Podvorye Restaurant for a three-course traditional Russian meal in an inviting, lodge-like setting, accompanied by Russian folkloric entertainment. This restaurant is considered “the most Russian of all Russian restaurants” and is favored by President Vladmir Putin and other prominent Russians.

We filled the dining room while served pickled vegetables, beef in sour cream and garlic sauce, chicken roulette, vegetarian borsch, cabbage rolls stuffed with beef, grilled pike perch, home style fried potatoes and free-flowing vodka. Now that is a Russian meal. And thus, a good time was had by all.

Russians saying: one bottle of vodka is enough, two bottles is too much and three bottles is not enough.
